Aside from his working engagements, Bass is a great philanthropist who sits on the boards of Vanderbilt University, Sid W. Richardson Foundation, and The Peregrine Fund. An avid outdoorsman, he also serves as founding director of the International Rhino Foundation as well as Chairman Emeritus of Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth’s Board. Politically, he is a republican and is known to have supported campaigns of various politicians including George Allen, George W. Bush, Kay Bailey Hutchison, John McCain and Phil Gramm. Currently being married to Ramona Seeligson, he is the father of three.
