In Season 3, Freddy Dodge began to appear on the show more regularly. He was also featured as part of the spin-off series, “Gold Rush: The Jungle”, which followed the miners as they took their mining venture to Guyana after the Klondike froze over. The mining venture in Guyana was not particularly successful for the main group of miners featured on the show, and they returned to the Klondike region for Season 4.
