Daniels voiced C-3PO in the Star Wars radio series based on the original trilogy. He is the only cast member of the original Star Wars trilogy to voice his character in all three parts of NPR’s dramatizations of the trilogy. He voiced C-3PO for three animated series: Droids, Star Wars: Clone Wars and Star Wars: The Clone Wars; and has continued to portray the role for promotional appearances, ceremonies, and theme park attractions. He contributed to the foreword to the collected scripts of the Return of the Jedi radio drama and also for The Lego Movie when his character made a cameo appearance along with other crew members of the Millennium Falcon. In 2014, it was confirmed that Daniels would be reprising his role of C-3PO again for the Star Wars Episode VII film that began filming in May 2012. In addition to his acting and voiceover career, he is also an Adjunct Professor at Carnegie Mellon University’s Entertainment Technology Center, and has been married to his wife, Agnes Daniels for many years.
